Food Safety Net Services is a network of ISO-accredited laboratory and
consulting services which helps to improve the effectiveness of food safety
and quality programs for food processors and food industry professionals.
This is accomplished by providing microbiological and chemical analyses of
foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals and environmental samples, as well as
industry research, consulting, and education to improve processes in the
food safety arena.
With facilities in the San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, Phoenix, and Green
Bay areas, the company has grown to encompass a highly technical staff
including degreed scientists which specialize in the food and pharmaceutical
industries. Food Safety Net Services' rapid growth can be attributed to its
focus on customer service since its inception in 1994. Every employee is
committed to providing superior service and excellent quality to each of
FSNS's customers.
Gina Bellinger, a microbiologist and graduate of Texas A&M University,
serves as Founder and President of the company. One of the co-owners is Dr.
Gary C. Smith of Colorado State University who is known for his technical
expertise and experience in the meat industry. The laboratory facilities
and technical services are operated under the direction of Chief Operating
Officer, Dr. Scott Brooks. Dr. Wendy Warren-Serna serves as the Vice
President of Technical Services, while Jim Bell is the Director of
Laboratory Operations. Technical Sales are under the direction of Vice
President, Dr. Shanna Boleman. All upper management, as well as laboratory
technical staff, have extensive backgrounds in the area of microbiology,
chemistry, food science and/or food safety.
