Food Safety Net Services is approved through ISACert, an international auditing and certification organization, to be a certified British Retail Consortium (BRC) auditing body.
The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, developed by retailers, was the first Standard in the world to be approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GSFI) benchmarking committee. Because the BRC Global Standards are meticulous and thorough, but also easy to follow and to comprehend, they are the most widely used of the GFSI standards, boasting more than 11,000 certified organizations throughout the world.
The BRC Standard places a strong emphasis on Management Commitment and a detailed HACCP Program as the basis of a successful food safety program. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance on the overall commitment for Quality programs and their execution. The Standard's requirements are clearly defined and documented which provides consistent interpretation by the auditors and implementation by the audited facilities. This consistency promotes confidence in the certification process as a whole.

Food Safety System Certification 22000:
FSNS is a certified FSSC 22000 auditing body. FSSC 22000 contains a complete certification scheme for Food Safety Systems based on the food safety management standard ISO 22000: 2005 'Requirements for any organization in the food chain' and the publicly available specification for Prerequisite programs on food safety for food manufacturing, BSI PAS 220: 2008. The scheme is using existing standards for certification (ISO 22000, PAS 220 and ISO 22003) and the certification will be accredited under the standard ISO guide 17021. Manufacturers that are already certified against ISO 22000 will only need an additional review against BSI PAS 220 to meet this certification scheme.
It is developed for the certification of food safety systems of food manufacturers that process or manufacture animal products, perishable vegetal products, products with a long shelf life and (other) food ingredients like additives, vitamins and bio-cultures.
The FSSC 22000 certification scheme has been given full recognition by the GFSI Board of Directors. This follows an extensive benchmarking process using the requirements laid out in the GFSI Guidance Document Version 5, and an addendum which was issued in December 2009.
