Submitting Samples

Sample submission instructions

Essential information needed to start processing the sample. Without the information below the lab will not be able to start processing your sample until clarification is made:

  1. Company/contact information
  2. Analysis: This is the type of testing you want. Example : Salmonella, APC, generic E. coli, Listeria.
  3. Method: This is how you would like us to test your product for a particular analysis. Example: AOAC, FDA-BAM, ELFA, GDS
  4. Sample descriptions and sample date entered in the 'Sample Identification/Description' section

Optional Information:

  1. Specification: Any specifications that is relevant to the samples being tested. Example: Negative, ≤100 cfu/g This information is useful to the technicians when they evaluate the results.
  2. Billing/Testing code: This section lets you enter the billing/testing codes on your quote that correspond to the analysis and methods requested.
  3. Special Instructions/Notes: This box is useful for any addition information the lab may need to process your sample or further specification instruction.

To expedite the processing of your sample, you can fax or email your completed sample submission form to the appropriate laboratory.

Shipping your samples:

When packing your samples, make sure to go through this checklist to confirm we receive your samples in optimum condition:

  1. Download the sample submission form and include in your shipment to accompany samples.
  2. Make sure all containers are properly sealed.
  3. Includes sufficient packaging that will protect your samples during shipping.
  4. If sending samples not held at room temperature make sure you include ice packs so we receive your samples at a ≤10°C temperature.
